Compensation Scheme:
It is Plan B's priority to pay bands fairly, especially touring bands. We are open to discuss any monetary arrangement (guarantees, door splits, free shows, benefits). 2 drink/food tickets are given to each band member, if and when the door meets the minimum $80 sound fee. More are often given to touring bands or local bands with a large draw. If we are sure that the show will be well attended, we give out the tickets at load in, but if there is any doubt, we wait to see the turnout. Promote your show get free booze!!! One drink ticket = well drink or beer (most beers). Two drink tickets = a meal from our kitchen (veg/vegan/meat). >>>> We generally allow 1 guest list spot per band member. “Band member” >>>> includes up to 2 roadies, for touring bands only. Any merch >>>> person/roadie/manager for local bands will count as a guest list spot, unless discussed in advance with booking

I'll be making flyers, distributing them posting them online, I'll be advertising it in the Portland Mercury, the Willamette Week, The Oregonian, Portland Tribune, sending myspace and facebook invites advertising on craigslist, word of mouth, telling neighbors, coworkers,etc

How about we talk in person. The venue i am seeking to book this at will want 100$ for space rental. They are a an art collective that uses the money to throw shows during art's events as well as repairs on the buidling.
